Productive Procrastination

Productive procrastination means that when you take a break from the thing you should be doing, you spend it on something that still gives you something back. Here that is a five-minute game: a logic puzzle with one right answer, a quick guess at a real-world number, or a deck of eight surprising facts, each checked against NASA, NOAA or the Smithsonian. Every game ends on its own, so the break stays a break, and you go back to work having learned something instead of having scrolled.

Questions people ask

What is productive procrastination?
Spending the minutes you'd lose to procrastinating on something that still pays off, like a short puzzle or a few real facts, instead of an endless feed.
What can I do in five minutes instead of scrolling?
Solve one logic puzzle, guess three real-world numbers, or read a deck of eight sourced facts. Each HopHopWow game takes two to five minutes and then stops.
Does this make me more productive?
We don't claim that. It's simply a better use of a break than a feed: it ends, and you learn something.
Is it free?
Yes. No ads, no account, and progress is saved in your browser.
